Dear Kemonono.com Administration Team,

Quick question. I know next to nothing about Kusaba, but how difficult would it be to make the board produce a Saucenao button that directs to "http://saucenao.com/search.php?db=999&url=(Image URL goes here)" at the end of every image post? :v

Pic related.

Love,
海東 大樹!DaikiKaitou

That upload sequence is only for POST image submission, (useful for images hidden behind login screens) the typical method employed is just to append the image url to the site's search url which is what OP is describing.

Yes, that is why I said:
>I suppose i could have it upload to saucenao on demand as well...

I am mostly just not sure if they would appreciate the bandwidth coming from us. But maybe its not that big of a deal...I will consider it.

Also, green text is silly on a green imageboard...more things to add to the queue.

Doujin collectors: what's the best way to handle your doujins so that you can enjoy them often while keeping them in good condition (short of just scanning them)? Are there any recommended methods of storage?
Pic possibly related.
>> No. 474 ID: 6c6540
Dry, cool place where dust does not collect. Though not doujins, I know of some obsessive comic book collectors who plastic-sleeve everything and then put those into those paper filing boxes.

If you intend to flip through them often, your best bet is to invest in some clear plastic book jackets which will provide you with as much protection as you can get while still being able to open the book.

Though personally I don't really bother with that. I just remove the binding, scan, carefully replace the binding, and plastic sleeve+box in case I ever want to sell any of them.

If enough people want the board and use it, then it would be a welcome edition.

As a migrant from WC myself, I'd have to say that an alternative place to post critter art would, at least for me, may be quite welcome--perhaps not immediately, but in the forseeable future. WC is pretty much ripping itself to shreds right now, so a drama-free alternative would be wonderful. The only problem is, a very large portion of critter art is loli/shota, which is against the current rules for posting. Would an exception be given for such a board?

ponoiro has confirmed that furry shota/loli is fine.

I suppose front page rules need to be updated as Trump's commercial works are also no-post now...

If something pornographic is straight, but the guy is really hot. Would you fap to it, like just look at the images with the guy in it.

I mean, in the Renamon's Blog comic, I love that Leomon's ass. Hopefully reardeliveries, palcomix's new gay site, will have a gay leomon pic.

I'm sorry if this is banworthy or offensive.

I had a boyfriend some time ago who had highly eroticized being a bottom. Sometimes he would watch straight porn if the guy in it was really hot and would imagine himself being penetrated by him. Sexuality is really weird.

I consider myself straight IRL, but i do like to fap to traps and shota/yaoi.

I think its that taboo aspect i find so appleaing. My 5.90 GB can atest to that LOL!

If anyone wants a personalized trip code, read here

Firstly though, the people using Japanese names.

It seems this place is already becoming used by people, who want to use Japanese characters in their name. Which is totally fine, but It's going to become a problem for me to know who is who because i don't differentiate between Japanese characters on the spot, like i do with English.

So if you are using Japanese I would like it if you could please have a personal trip code for me and ponoiro's convenience.

But don't worry, even if you have an English name, you can have a personal trip code as well, i totally understand having your own identify that isn't random letters and numbers.

All you need to do is email me (emeekemono@gmail.com) the password you are using now and the trip code you wish to have. If you want, start using a totally new fresh password for this site so you do not worry if I'm going to hack you etc (I never would, don't worry)

Also, please don't ask for your trip to be Japanese letters... Also be patient.

Also changed my trip code to "KemonoAdmin" to avoid confusion.

I'm so glad I expanded my horizons beyond Fchan, or I would've never discovered the many other awesome furry sites out there, like WildCritters, E621, Firpiled, and this here awesome place. Although after being exposed to the aforementioned Danbooru-esque image boards, I feel like the old Futaba style is a bit... outdated. Would Kemonono ever consider changing formats? You'd have search features based on image tags, and you'd have in-browser text overlays which would be great for on-the-spot translation of manga. I hope I'm not upsetting anyone with this suggestion.

Well...when this board was first established, e621 and WC covered pretty much all the content that would be posted here save for some minor gaps and some doujin content. Now that WC is dead (at least for now) it seems like there could be some argument made for switching this site over to a danbooru style site. This board moves pretty slowly and mostly serves as an archival service, safe from the whims of lulz.net...not to demean the absolutely fantastic effort put into translation and drawing in the oekaki. Having a tag search-able archival service is surely better than the thread based imageboard solution.

I personally prefer imageboards however, but that is probably just because of the way I consume content. I never go in search of a particular subject...I like to be bombarded with fresh content.

I have actually been putting in some thought into developing something fresh for this site. Sort of a cross between the danbooru and futaba style sites. Image tagging while keeping threaded discussions. Ychan has tried to do something like that, but their layout seems really messy to me. I also want to implement something to compliment the doujin and comic content. If I do end up making something, its a while off.

Idk...thats my pile of thoughts on the issue.
>> No. 450 ID: bbd0b5
Hmm... I checked out YChan, and while the system they've got seems pretty interesting, they seem to have the same attitudes as Fchan that made that place stop being fun. The whole hate on cub stuff to me, seemed like just an excuse for one furry to feel morally superior to another, but used to be nobody gave a damn or they just didn't fight about it as much as now. (What's comical to me is how they say any character that is aesthetically "under-age looking" is cub, yet bread-n-butter characters like Tails and Klonoa are exempt from the "law" they're so desperate to comply with.)

I really sucks that Wildcritters is gone. It was one of my faves, a step above e621 on my "like" scale because it was mostly non-western furry stuff, everyone there was pretty nice including the mods and nobody really ever fought over stuff there.

I've already been to the Comic Market and checked out the Kemono circles there, and Kemonocon 2nd was a lot of fun... any one else living in Japan right now?

> Not enough hetero

That is just too bad for you. I am quite happy with the delicious ratio of ghey:straight. When I go to Japan next May, I look forward to purchasing much faggotry.
>> No. 386 ID: 44ffde
I would enjoy seeing greater selection in hetero furry manga if for nothing else than to have variety, since you cannot please everyone. Though, it is hard to say if gay kemono is popular as an extreme branch of the well known and rather extensive market of catgirls.

With Comiket coming in August, there should hopefully be some new works.

So Comiket is coming up in a few days and I wanted to know if there are natives for hire who will go fetch doujinshi for a modest fee. There are some doujin, both anthro and nonanthro that seem only to be available exclusively to people who buy at these shows. I'd rather not play the annoying auction game, if it all the same.

Aw, that sucks, but that still looks like an impressive haul. As for me, I'm getting kinda of desperate to find some way to at least get my non-anthro items. Is your friend going for you this year? Is he ok with buying tame m/m stuff? Is there any chance I could work something out with you to have him pick up about 3-4 items?

WORKSAFE

Mech/Mecha Musume/Mega Man/Plug suits thread, putting all these together for ease of use.

Lots of Aile as she is my favorite Mega Man character in the series, again with the vertical seams i know. But the shorts and ears really top it off.
